Web analysis

The web analysis tool "Google Analytics" is used on this website. The purpose of its use is the "needs-based design" of this website, which is carried out on the basis of a weighing of interests. The web analysis also enables us to detect and correct errors on the website, e.g. due to faulty links. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. So-called "client IDs" are used, which are used to create pseudonymous usage profiles that record the use of the website by desktop computers and mobile devices by a user together.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, since we have activated so-called IP anonymization on this website and concluded a corresponding order processing agreement with Google, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google is certified according to the so-called "Privacy Shield" (list entry). An appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed by Google.

You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).

Alternatively, you can - especially on mobile devices - prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will then be set, which will prevent the future collection of your data when visiting this website: Google Analytics deactivate

For more information on the terms of use of Google Analytics and privacy notices, please visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Web Fonts

We use so-called Google Web Fonts on our Internet pages. This involves loading fonts from Google servers, which serve to improve the design of the website. The data processing is based on a balancing of interests, whereby our interest lies in an appealing design of the website.

The fonts in question are loaded from Google servers, which are generally located in the USA. The appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed by Google ("Privacy Shield" list entry).

Custom Audiences, Facebook Conversion and Facebook Pixel

Within our web offers, the so-called "Facebook Pixel" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are a resident of the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"), is used due to our legitimate interests in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our web offers and for these purposes. Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).

With the help of Facebook Pixel, it is possible for Facebook, on the one hand, to determine the visitors to our web offers as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called "Facebook Ads"). For this reason, we use Facebook Pixel in order to display the Facebook Ads placed by us only to those Facebook visitors who have also shown an interest in our web offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain content determined on the basis of the web pages visited), which we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the possible interest of visitors and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether visitors were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion"). The processing of data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook's data usage policy. You can find general information on the display of Facebook ads, in Facebook's data usage policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.

Specific information and details about the Facebook Pixel and how it works can also be found in Facebook's help section: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616. You can object to the collection by the Facebook Pixel and use of your data to display Facebook Ads. To adjust which types of ads are displayed to you within Facebook, you can visit the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions there on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. The settings are made regardless of the platform, which means that they are applied to all devices, such as your personal computer or mobile devices like smartphones and tablets or notebooks. You can opt out of the use of cookies used for advertising and reach measurement purposes via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page (http://optout.networkadvertising.org/) and additionally the US website (http://www.aboutads.info/choices) or the European website (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/).
